Text Box:  	Locks, Docks and One Smoking Ferry	Sunday 11th May
Meet at 11am at The Crown, Blackheath;
return at about 5pm	Meander along the Thames Path, over the Thames on the Woolwich Ferry, then around Docklands before going under the Thames at the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

Slicker	Sunday 18th May
Meet at 11am at The Crown, Blackheath;
return at about 5pm	Follow the Thames Path towards Central London, then cross Tower Bridge and return to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel by the Thames Path on the north side.
18 miles, 60% off road.
Picnic lunch overlooking the Thames.

to Erith	Saturday 7th June
Meet at 11am at The Crown, Blackheath;
return at about 5pm	Follow Thames Path all the way to Erith.  Return by the same route or take the train back.  
10 or 20 miles, 90% off road.
Picnic lunch near Woolwich.
 	Lewisham Bike and Kite Festival	Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th June
11am – 4pm
Blackheath	Suitable for children of all ages.  Face painting, kite flying, cycling activities, Dr Bike and all sorts of other fun activities.
 	Surrey Docks Farm	Sunday 15th June
Meet at 11am at The Crown, Blackheath;
return at about 4pm	The farm has a variety of animals, a working blacksmiths, a dairy and many gardens including a herb garden of texture and smell. Facilities include a cafe, shop and special projects, events and festivals.

 	Evening Family Picnic at the Pilot	Tuesday 17th June
Meet at 4.30 at The Crown, Blackheath;
return at about 8pm	A gentle ride along the Thames Path to the Millennium Dome or O2 Arena.

 	The Festival of Cycling	Friday 20th June
4pm to 6pm on Blackheath	A whole host of cycling activities on Blackheath: slow races, dodge, limbo cycling, bike security marking, obstacle course, and much more.
Refreshments provided.
 	Ladywell Fields	Sunday 29th June
Meet at 11am at Manor House Gardens Café;
return at about 3pm	Follow the Quaggy through Manor park, then quiet roads to the bus and cycle zone through Lewisham.  Then follow the Ravensbourne to Ladywell Fields, perhaps further depending on the group.

 	Cycle Orienteering	Sunday 13the July
Meet at 11am at John Ball Primary School;
return at 5pm	Using London cycling maps children take it in turns to navigate the group through the warren of cycle lanes around the Russia Dock Ecology Park and Rotherhithe Peninsula.
Suitable for Year 5 and 6 children.
Parents are welcome to help supervise.

Easy.  Often traffic free cycling, crossing roads at lights.  Suitable for anyone, sometimes including children on trainer wheels, or those who prefer to walk.	Moderate.  Mainly using off road cycle paths but be prepared to dismount and walk across busy junctions.  Suitable for confident cyclists of any age.	Hard.  Using a variety of roads, cycle lanes and cycle paths.  Be prepared for steep hilly sections and/or a longer distance to cycle.  Probably only suitable for regular cyclists in Years 5 and 6.
